The Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection are presenting a special exhibition at the Neues Museum on Museum Island to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the bust of Nefertiti on 6 December 1912. The exhibition is focussed on the Amarna period, refering to the ruins of the ancient Egyptian city of Akhetaton.
