Another one of those photo in grey-in-grey: grey clouds and grey houses in Berunnenstrasse, Mitte.
Berlin weather in February: dark clouds and sunny skies.
Berlin sidewalks are not in the best condition. And that can be a good thing. On Valentine’s Day I found this heart shaped gap in the cobbled paving near Arkonaplatz. How nice is that? And of course took a photo of it.

Wanted: more Berlin streetart!
Nowadays it’s quite a bit difficult to find streetart in Berlin. Of course compared to other cities you may think that there is a lot art in the streets of Berlin, but compared to what was going on only 10 years ago the current situation is a bit sad.
But nevertheless – here and there and everywhere you’ll still be able to find more or less nice pieces of streetart. Sometimes even in layers. Like in this photo: “GESUCHT”

Ackerstrasse, view towards Torstrasse / Berlin-Mitte – to the left: the old Market-Hall near Invalidenstrasse – Photo: T.Bortels/nuberlin.com
View from Invalidenstraße into Ackerstraße on a sunny day in January.
On the left you see the Ackerhalle – in the centre of the picture you see a food delivery guy on his bike – and in the forground you see the tram rails reflecting the sunlight. What a beautiful day.
