Anklamer Straße is a somewhat hidden street, but it certainly has its charm. At its eastern end, Anklamer Straße joins Granseer Straße at Arkonaplatz, and at its western end, it meets Ackerstraße.

The street is named after the small town of Anklam in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Addresses on Anklamer Straße

Jasper’s, a small hotel with a restaurant, is located on the corner of Arkonaplatz.

Probably the most exciting part of Anklamer Straße is between Fehrbelliner Straße and Brunnenstraße. This is where you will find the Gründerinnenzentrale (Founders’ Center) and the WeiberWirtschaft – two institutions that support female founders and entrepreneurs with a wide range of services.

Just behind it is the Golda bookstore, next to the vintage furniture store Another June. And if you’re in the mood for a really good cup of coffee, you won’t be disappointed at Caffe e Cioccolata. Opposite is the Spanish delicatessen Palacios&Palacios, which sells wine and olives and also has an extremely well-stocked cheese counter. And in the evening, you can also snack on a Spanish specialty or two and enjoy a good glass of wine.
